Novozymes awarded accolade for leadership in corporate transparency and performance on climate change

OXIPRO partner Novozymes is proud to announce that it has been recognized for leadership in corporate transparency and performance on climate change by global environmental non-profit organisation CDP, securing a place on its annual ‘A List’ (see report here)

In a year of ever-increasing environmental concerns around the world – from extreme weather to unprecedented losses to nature – the need for transformational, urgent and collaborative change is more critical than ever. CDP holds the largest environmental database in the world, and this year scored nearly 15,000 companies on their climate change, forests and water security disclosures. Based on data reported through CDP’s 2022 Climate Change questionnaire, Novozymes is one of a small number of companies that achieved an ‘A’ out of more than 15,000 companies scored. It also received an A minus (‘A-‘) score for Water. These companies are leading the way in environmental transparency and performance on climate change, deforestation and water security.

The CDP’s annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is widely recognized as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency. Novozyme’s ranking and engagement is important to many of its shareholders, investors, and customers. Being part of the ranking shows that Novozymes is transparent about our climate action and water management efforts. Investors are more focused than ever on companies monitoring the risks related to climate change – and the information they gain is fundamental to their decisions.
