Calyxia’s Alexandre Brosse Showcases OXIPRO Innovation at SEPAWA 2024
This year’s SEPAWA Congress in Berlin saw over 3,500 attendees from 65 countries gathered to explore the latest in cosmetic, detergent, and home care advancements. Among the exhibitors was Calyxia, a pioneering company in tailor-made microencapsulation, including enzyme encapsulation, led by key team member Alexandre Brosse. As part of their mission to develop new solutions for the industry, Calyxia’s presence at SEPAWA 2024 aimed to connect with new customers and promote the latest in microencapsulation technologies, while also shining a spotlight on the groundbreaking OXIPRO project.
Brosse and his team at Calyxia took this valuable opportunity to introduce visitors to the OXIPRO project, a European Union-funded initiative pushing the boundaries of enzyme development for industrial applications. OXIPRO’s mission aligns perfectly with Calyxia’s expertise: enhancing enzyme stability and efficacy within various formulations, a well-known industry challenge. Alexandre Brosse shared insights into how microencapsulation can protect and control the release of enzymes, making them more robust and effective in high-performance formulations, especially within the home care sector.
As part of the exhibition, the Calyxia team displayed informative flyers, enabling visitors to learn about the OXIPRO project’s contributions. The flyers underscored the synergy between Calyxia’s microcapsule innovations and OXIPRO’s enzyme development efforts, emphasizing both projects’ commitment to providing sustainable, high-quality solutions that meet the increasing demands of the industry. This hands-on engagement brought a practical understanding to attendees about how innovative microencapsulation can extend enzyme stability in various consumer applications, including home care products.
With SEPAWA 2024 now concluded, the Calyxia team has garnered valuable insights and feedback from industry professionals, reaffirming the ongoing need for solutions that improve the longevity and performance of enzymes. The OXIPRO project has gained significant visibility among a wide-reaching audience, laying the groundwork for continued collaboration and innovation across the industry.
